How YOUR "supposed to take care of Jeans"

So we all have that fav pair of jeans..You know the ones,They make your thighs turn into tall drinks of water, your butt magically appear. The ones where when you put them on you feel so great this song starts playing the min u start walking out the door http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rog8ou-ZepE  U know the ones that are your go to"jeans" when you wanna look extra good. They are stretched in all the right places they hug your tummy so there is no muffin top..The pair of jeans you can look at and instantly think of all the good time you had in them......

Now that I have you reliving memoirs of good times u had in your fav pair of jeans....You ever had a moment where you just dont wanna wash them.God I know I have! I dreaded washing them ,all I can think about every time I would wash them is "shit now im going to have to do jean stretches to get them back on and not to bring up the 3 hours sitting around the house wearing them before they even begin to fit, where you can breathe with out undoing the top button, & if you get them right outta the dryer dont even think about slipping into those babies with out doing a 1hour Jillian Micheals tape...
OK like many of you reading this right now your like "alright we get it dryer bad never wash jeans again. All better right?" Yeah if you don't want anyone to stand next to you ever again,Dude be my guest!I am one of the few like like the "just bought you look to my jeans" But after 3 washes those 100 dollas jeans go into the well I did see those cute ones at American eagle     and they were like 49.50 not 100. OK STOP RIGHT THERE ! Put the Debit Card Back in that knock off designer wallet (shut up we all have one).before you spend MORE cash on jeans let me tell you how to make them last....and if after reading this u STILL wanna buy another pair (I know they are cute and they do have crystals blinging off the butt, what the hell...no wait hold up just keep reading) then fine put your pin in.....

Ok so lets fast forward you have worn your fav jeans ,after being up all night with Hanson..he he he up all night with Hanson...why do I think thats so funny...NEWAYS back to jeans.....You have to clean them cause they just down right Stinky.U think u can just pop them in dryer with a dryer sheet and poof all ready again..WRONG that drink stain the "I got busy stain in the bathroom "or they just have the sweaty starchie feel to them .

Because all denim is colored by an indigo dye process, some amount of fading will take place when you wash them...BOOOOOOO.....The best way to maintain the dark color of your favorite jeans is to send them to the dry cleaners*, but that can get expensive! Here are some tips that I have tested and tried and totally work!
Tips for care of Jeans..............

1. Simply turning your jeans inside out before washing will cut down on the friction. This will help keep your jeans from wearing down prematurely.Ie that hole in the knee that wasnt there yesterday?do you believe in magic....

2. Limit the number of jeans in the washer to 3-4,dont be shoving all 15 pairs you own!So that they aren't packed too tightly. Denim is heavy and too many jeans in the washer at one time can hurt the get the stink out process. Use lighter weight clothing  to fill the rest of the washing machine.
3. If your jeans have the distressed look to them you may want to wash them on the delicate cycle to keep the holes from growing..I know its cute, but only when they are ment to be there not the 80's its snip and clip and I helped...U put the kitchen scissors down....
4. Wash in cold or warm water (check the label first) and avoid using bleach. Some companies are now making detergent specifically for darker colors which might be helpful when washing your dark denim. Really dark denim may need to be washed prior to wearing so that the indigo dye doesn't rub off on you LMAO I have soooo done this and had blue hands not very smurfie. Often, these jeans have a label recommending that they should be washed first.BY THEM SELF not with your new white bra you just spent a small fortune on.

5. To avoid wrinkles, take them the sec the washer is done. Turn the jeans right side out. Zip and button jeans and then hang with a two clip pant hanger clasping the waist.I recommend hanging to dry to avoid the extra crap the dryer can do to them ,also to keep jeans from shrinking(just say no to laying on bed to zip them up). Although, if shrinking is what your going for .Ill be your teenage dream in my skin tight jeans tonight,You make me feel like Im living a teenage dream , then go ahead mcskankie  toss them into the dryer.

6. ALWAYS read the label inside your jeans before you wash them. Because some jeans, with all the bling on them are  dry clean only.OH look everything is all sparkly now.
7. Jeans are often prewashed in the factory. However, it's always a good idea to wash your jeans before having them altered so your new pair of 7's won't turn into high water pants after one trip in the washer...
OK OK OK if your like dude who has time for all that special BS care stuff !Alright Lazy ass..these are one step little savers...NO u dont have to do them all at one time... !
According to a big wig at Levi Strauss, the best way to take care of your jeans is to rarely ever wash them.BUT when you finally do...........
1.Wash them as you would a delicates load of laundry. cold water, low dry
2.Wash them inside out with the washing machine set to cold water
3.You can buy special detergents for dark colors or Tide with color guard also.
4.How do you keep your jeans from becoming TOO disgusting?  spot-clean with a damp sponge .
IF you traveling and cant stop to wash them ...............Really you only brought one pair...#fail
5.Hang jeans in the bathroom so that when you take a shower, they get a little steam to freshen them up. 6.You can use what ever is under the kitchen sink—usually Windex or 409.NO BLEACH unless you want a new fun faded look to them!

Hope this helps keep those jeans looking fabulous longer!!!
