SO U got a ZIT! Now what?

So you got a ZIT!! Now what? WTF !
This Blog is about what to do 2 weeks before,1 week before,Day before and shit you woke up in the morning and now your Rudolf the red nose reindeer. How to treat them, Hide them.

Now before you go locking your self in your room...wearing a bandaid on it and telling everyone you wooped some ass....let me offer u my advice.I DO GET THEM! I have one every flipping time I go on a Hanson road trip! I have tried and tested these methods my self .I have used it all!! no really I have.from over the counter to HIGH end products..this is what works for me and I rec to my friends.....

1st  Different types of Zits............
These four factors contribute to blocked skin pores, which bulge outward to form:
  • Blackheads. These form when the pores are clogged close to the surface of the skin. Because they are exposed to the skin surface, blackheads don't usually become inflamed. Blackheads are dark due to the presence of a dark  pigment. This color is not the result of dirt in the pores.
  • Whiteheads. These develop from a blockage deeper in a pore. Lacking a drainage path, the oil accumulates in the skin, causing small flesh-colored or white-colored bumps. Unlike blackheads, whiteheads are more likely to lead to the red inflammations known as pimples or zits.
  • Pustules (also known as pimples or zits) occur when the walls of the blocked follicle ruptures. Oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria normally found on the skin surface get into the skin and irritate it, forming small areas of inflammation.
  • Cysts are larger, red, inflamed areas deep in the skin that indicate a more extensive infection.

Now you know they nasty types what really causes them?

Alright enough Background  NOW what you supposed to do?

2 weeks before a show......So you wake up one morning and go pe look in the mirro...you know you do...and WHAM there it is or there they are.....DUM DEE DUMM DUMM DUMMMMM ...

First things first:

Do you have bangs?  If so, pin them back when you sleep.
The last thing you want to do is start rubbing your face raw with soaps and stuff.  Also don't pick at it!

Don't touch your face with your bare hands. your just going to make it worse!! for real! I know its ugly but plz for the love of your skin....DONT TOUCH IT!!! if your like nice try Mcfly ...welllll then after a shower get two que tips and GENTLY GENTLY place them around zit and work it but not hard! But again it also depends what kinda zit it is.....so just dont touch it better safe than scarey.hehe..I made a funny..
Another one -- as much as you can, stay emotionally calm, sleep well, drink lots of water.
be sure you gently apply your cleanser to your skin with clean fingertips. Don’t rub a bar of soap across your face with a washcloth as that will only serve to irritate your skin and make your acne worse.
Then, make sure you rinse your skin with lukewarm water. Don’t use hot, and don’t use cold. Hot water causes flaky skin, and chilly water shocks your pores. Dry by patting your pores and skin, not rubbing it - particularly with a dirty towel!

MYTHS:

Myth: Popping your pimples is the best way to get rid of them.

Fact: Step away from that mirror! Some people might tell you that popping your zits will make them less noticeable and help them heal faster, but they're wrong. Picking or popping your pimples pushes germs further under your skin, which could cause more redness, pain, and maybe even a nasty infection. And popping zits can lead to scarring, which could last forever.

Myth: Eating fried foods or chocolate can cause acne.

Fact: Nope — that candy bar you had last night or that slice of pizza at last week's sleepover isn't responsible for the pimple that showed up on your face today. What you eat isn't the cause of acne, but that doesn't mean you should pig out on food ....just it isnt causing the zit to begin with.

Myth: Stress causes acne.

Fact: Are you worried that the big test tomorrow or that next week's championship game will cause your skin to break out? Don't worry — the normal everyday stress of being a kid doesn't cause acne. If you're going through an especially stressful period in your life — such as moving to a new house or dealing with your parents' divorce — your skin may produce more oil, also known as sebum (say: see-bum), but that doesn't mean you'll get more zit

Myth: Getting a tan clears up acne.

Fact: Baking in the sun does nothing to improve your acne. When you spend time outside and your skin becomes darker, the redness caused by acne may be less noticeable for a little while. But when your tan fades, you'll still see your zits. And spending time in the sun without the proper protection can cause dry, irritated, or burned skin — not to mention it increases your risk of developing wrinkles and skin cancer later in life.

Myth: If you want to avoid acne, don't wear makeup.

Fact: Young skin looks great without makeup. But if you like cosmetics, be sure to choose products that are labeled "noncomedogenic" or "nonacnegenic." That means the product won't clog your pores or cause breakouts. Some cosmetics even contain acne-fighting ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.

Here great home pimple remedy:Just saying dont come hunt me down if it didnt work for you..I am not there holding your hand so I dont know how you fucked it up...Alright!

HERE R SOME at home Remedies:
1) Lemon juice. Extract juice of one lemon and mix it together with an equal amount of rose water. Stir and apply the mixture on your face (or any other affected area) and leave it on for approximately 30 minutes. Then wash your face with fresh, lukewarm water. Do this once a day and after about two weeks you should see a significant improvement in your skin.. lemon juice also reduces blemishes and scars.

2) Aspirin. One of the ingredients in Aspirin is beta hydroxy acid. When mixed with water and placed on the skin this acid works as a strong exfoliant thus helping to unclog pores and clear blemishes. Use the Aspirin scrub once a week to get rid of pimples and acne pimple scars. Just be sure to rub very gently and don’t leave the mask on for more than approximately 15 minutes.

3) Tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree native to Australia and it is an effective pimple remover. There’s a good deal of evidence demonstrating the effectiveness of tea tree oil in treating acne and even many dermatologists are using it in their regular care of acne patients.

That On the spot above is FAB for the over night zit go away....

Drink water all day!
Use your creams and NO MAKEUP! I know that suxs but still...clean all your brushes new pillow case, clean bath towel ,Use home treatments ...dont panic Im about to tell you how to cover that sucker if you wake up and its still there!!

Heres how to do it:

1.Use a Face Primer it makes your make up stay on like glue!! let the primer dry for a sec then use a large brush like a clean foundation brush.I rec the NC cover ups by mac.it is great for oily skin!it has somthing in it that absorbs oil. Also it is waterproof.Brush on lightly...over area you wanna cover like dis colored places and  scares
2.Get a YELLOW cover up it will neutralize the REDNESS..I like it better than a green cause sometime you have to go back and cover up the green or you miss a spot ect....next apply foundation....If it still showing after you applied, then take a small concealer brush  same cover up you used before then just dab it on those places and blend it out...then use a BIG powder brush and light dust to set it...I like the makeup forever HD.......What it does and is:

Sets the foundation and slightly mattifies skin without changing its natural contours. This 100% mineral silica powder softens the appearance of imperfections. Completely evens out the complexion for a glowing, radiant look. One universal shade for all skin tones.

What else you need to know:
It's completely translucent and goes on any skintone. Its talc-free formula does not dry the skin and is formulated with 100% silica. Dermatologically tested
.

Hope this Helps!!!!
