MY fav glam things for the winter/holidays..

"There are a few things I look forward to during the winter/holiday months.....I love holiday dresses, breaking out my jackets, sweaters, holiday makeup and glam hair.Basically things you wouldn't necessarily do during the hotter months..Cause its hot for one and two its HOT!Did you get that?lol do I need to repeat it?...DUDE Summer Is HOT..."by:Me
So what I'm saying is extra styled hair ,heaver makeup are a big waste of time when its hot outside ...So I save the fun looks and glam hair for the colder weather.Im going to share with you MY PERSONAL Fav things and looks I wear to be Glamorous  during the holidays....& yes cold weather.....

Favorite Jackets----
Having a cute jacket during the colder months is a girls MUST!But alot of  us just dropped tons of cash on a SIO tour *cough cough* *worth it * cough cough.....So unless you have timeless jackets to wear or endless amount of cash to burn your a girl on a budget. Here are my Top 3 Jackets and Looks.......
CROP JACKET-------
The cropped jacket can be both cute and sophisticated. It is stylish and versatile enough to go day to night with your busy life.

Instructions:

Wear your cropped jacket in cold weather. Layer a cropped jacket over your favorite sweaters and T-shirt to help them transition from fall to winter. Add a scarf, and wear your cropped jacket with jeans for a day on the town or a casual evening.

Wear your cropped jacket as evening wear. Go formal with suedes, velvets and other glamorous fabrics. A long-sleeved or short-sleeved cropped jacket of matching color and classy fabric can top a dress or formal wear. Think short, cap sleeves or sheer fabrics for a fresh take

Tux's Jackets/Suit Jacket aka men's wear---
"The menswear trend gives an empowering edge to women," "There's something sexy about a women in a well-tailored suit. The look is strong, yet still feminine, with clean and simple lines."
says Joey Tierney stylist.......

"Make sure that your jacket fits you well, otherwise it could create a boxy silhouette," Tierney says. "Women should make sure of the fit when practicing this trend. You want to keep it sexy and make sure that the clothing you are wearing accentuates your body and doesn't hide it. Just because the trend is called menswear doesn't mean you have to dress like a man. It means you create a feminine classy look with well-tailored lines."

I LUV LUV LUV these looks.....Really comfortable and sooo cute.easy to look put together and not spend alot of time doing so..Waste lines look tiny and the lines are clean and soo slimming! I honestly wear this look ALL the time...your warm and comfortable!..not to mention totally girly GLAM!

PEA Coats!

Nothing says princess like a pea coat! They are warm can range in prices....

When wearing them keep in mind a few simple rules:

1.If your short longer coats drown you out. They make you look even shorter than you really are.Stick with cropped and mid length coats that hit above or right below hips...Longer coats should stay on the tall girls...Ok so what do I consider tall...5'6 and above...k
2.Color is great but if your looking for classic and timeless that can be wore more than once stay neutral in colors .black brown grey ect....Colors should look good on your skin complement your eyes and hair as well YES I know the lime green is pretty but if your olive skinned then you just look well greener...not cute!

MAKEUP----

Something  about a red lip that screams winter beauty...I wear it solely in the colder months,it is a thing I have about wearing red in the hotter time of the year..I feel weird..I don't know why made I have seen to many 80's movies but its my thing, you are welcome to do whatever but that's just my thought on the matter..Take it for whats it's worth...

Rules about reds:

Rule No. 1: The secret lies in the rest of your face.......

The paler the skin, the bigger the pop

Rule No. 2: Line inside of lips----

Red lipstick tends to bleed, so fill in lips with lip liner first...

Rule No. 3: Pick the right color------

If your complexion is pink, you'll look better in plum shades, while girls with yellow tones are flattered by warmer reds that have a brown base, according to celebrity makeup artist Jemma Kidd....

Rule No. 4: Don't let nails clash------

I prefer non-red nail polish when you're going red on the lips. A clear polish or light color is cool, and dark polish is a trend that shows no sign of going away anytime soon. If you want to go red on the nails, make sure the color matches your lips.....

Rule No. 5: Blending is in--------

Few makeup artists stick to one shade of any lipstick, they tend to blend a few to create the perfect colors. If you've bought a red lipstick shade that's too bright, dark or whatever, don't throw it away. Instead, experiment with other lipstick shades you have on hand to create the perfect shade of red.

Rule No. 6: Choose lighter shades if you are older-----

Our lips thin as we age and dark lips can accentuate them. To keep lips from looking too severe, try a rosy red or avoid red lips altogether and opt for a neutral shade, playing up your eyes instead. More on lipstick:
HAIR-----

OMG!!! I love winter/holiday hair as much as i love rocking the red lips!!!This time of year you can be alittle more dramatic about your look and we all know I like the drama...Ok smartass not that kinda drama....#tourstories
hair can be more refined during the winter months as well as soft and sexy. Most I said MOST of the time you dont get frizz  and hair stays pretty smooth...BUT yes it does get flat in the winter time because there is NO humidity to pump it up...Hairspray is a must have as well....

Messy updo's are really pretty on everyone, short hair long medium length you can rock a version of this look.I so say keep jewelry simple, one focal point,it will give you the edge in your quest to be a fashionist
When its cold outside I like structured curls like Blake has here,Not the messy summer curls but touchable soft shiny curls. This looks great at a party or under a winter hat..GRRRR baby GRRRR...

NAILS----- This can totally set your outfit apart, put it together, sexy it up,and finish it off.....I wouldnt do the summer pinks and light colors during the winter and holiday months.VAMP it up go dark go bold ,Glittery, matte, JUST no topical colors...wrong time of year...I know your tan but really just trust me #tourstories LOL..The only time I would go more natural would be with a classic french manicure..TIMELESS and works on everyone.

MOST Important ......Step outside the box! It will be ok I promise! XOXOX
